How to install symfony framework on your localhost

virtual directory:

ServerName symfony.localhost

SetEnv APPLICATION_ENV “development”
<Directory C:/xampp/htdocs/symfony/web>
AllowOverride All
Order allow,deny
Allow from all

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /app_dev.php [QSA,L]
</IfModule

</VirtualHost>

hosts file

127.0.0.1 symfony.localhost

Now you can run

http://symfony.localhost/app_dev.php

 

You have to create the database name “like     symfony

After that you click the configure file and go step by step

dymfonyddd

 

Now you can start you development
